Matthew J. Geragos

Matthew Geragos focuses in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation. Mr. Geragos has over 28 years of experience in trials and negotiations where he has obtained multi-million dollar judgments and settlements for his clients. Mr. Geragos assesses each case individually, thoughtfully, and creatively where he often comes up with a favorable approach not seen by most attorneys. In addition, Mr. Geragos prides himself on his assessment of each and every case, always keeping his client’s best interest as his main priority. It is this type of professionalism one should expect when retaining counsel.

Mr. Geragos, a former Commissioner of the Information Technology Board with the City of Los Angeles has expertise in the area of information technology. He also has extensive knowledge in the areas of securities and finance, as he was a floor trader and stock specialist on the Pacific Stock Exchange prior to embarking in the field of law.

​Mr. Geragos graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in business administration and from Southwestern University School of Law’s prestigious SCALE program with a Juris Doctor Degree. He is licensed to practice law in the state of California and in the United States District Court. He is a member of the California State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorney’s Association and a Board Member of the Endowment Fund of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.

Mr. Geragos, who is a native of Los Angeles comes from a family of lawyers with his father practicing law for over half a century. He has strong ties to the legal community in Southern California.
