That sucks. But, so does jail. In my experience, the more outside people contact the corrections officers, the worse it gets for the inmate.

What can be done is he can hire a lawyer. Arson is serious, even if you think it's funny to set flowers on fire.

YES, being a felon in possession of a firearm is both a state and federal crime.
I forgot about my court date for a traffic violation and a bench warrant has been issued. Will I have to go to jail?

No. Paying the fine will not get rid of the warrant. You, or a lawyer, need to go to court.
I missed a court date for a traffic ticket (expired registration and expired license) and a bench warrant was issued.

Maybe. Why would you turn yourself in when you could hire a lawyer to try to get the warrant quashed?

I was set up by the Federal Govt. and sent to prison for 5 years. They threatened my i.e coerced a guilty plea from me.
