Farris Elias Ain

My case involved a client suing my company for a half a million dollars. The client was previously paid about $5,000, which is exactly what they were due. We had all the evidence necessary to win our case. We found out that the plaintiff had a history of 10 lawsuits in 10 years. They were using a fri...end, who was an attorney, who was not charging them an hourly rate, so they could go on and on, racking up my attorney’s fees. If we went all the way to court, it would have cost around $60,000 to win, but I had no guarantee of reimbursement for my attorney’s fees. It seriously amounted to a case of “legal extortion”. Farris was miraculously able to settle with the opposition for $9,000, and equally as amazing, his fees were a very low $6,000 in total. All in all, my company gave up an actual net figure of $10,000 rather than $500,000 to make the whole mess go away. During this frustrating and frankly, rather scary ordeal, I was either yelling or crying. Farris managed to calm me down every time and eventually produce a seriously positive result. I hope to never be threatened with a lawsuit again, but if I am, Farris is my first call. The guy is a legal genius, and he’s my lawyer for life.
