We had an IP related law suit with Ed representing us. He was very knowledgeable and definitely knew what he was talking about. But there were a few concerns that I had. One, he was always very conservative. Always erring on the side of caution and complete regard for opposing counsel. It felt a...s if he was so conservative that his consultation was not completely objective or including all the possibilities, leaving out options that were even somewhat aggressive. Second, he was a careless. Settlement agreements were sent to us from opposing counsel with his OK to sign and send back. But upon closer inspection there definitely was changes and additions. When brought to his attention, he noted many, many changes. Second revisions were sent to us, again with his OK and approval, only for us to discover still having issues and additions not agreed upon. These are major oversights that are huge liabilities on his end.
