Your not eligible to work as a L-2 until you are approved and EAD is approved. So you will have to stop working after July 8th. They can call it...

It is not abnormal for it to take this long. Basically, after the biometrics are taken, they wait for the results, which can take only a few hours...

The officer made a mistake at the port of entry. You will have to file for an extension for her before her expiration in December.
