Biography
Michael is a native Californian and has been practicing law for over 22 years. He graduated from UCLA with highest honors and received his J.D. from U.C. Berkeley School of Law. Mike formerly served in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to opening JLG, Mike worked for Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton. While at Sheppard Mullin, he represented several Fortune 100 companies. Mike opened his law firm with this cornerstone belief: everyone deserves great lawyers who care. He has successfully negotiated over 500 million dollars in settlements on behalf of his clients and has been recognized several times as a "Rising Star" and most recently as a "Super Lawyer" by Super Lawyers and Los Angeles Magazine from 2018-2022 making him one of the most sought after attorneys in Los Angeles. Mike adores his wife, Alex, and daughters, Quynh, Kaily, and Phibee.
