Kent L. Kristof is an accomplished attorney in complex trust, estate and conservatorship law, who is dedicated to protecting the financial interests of clients and litigating for the rights of elder abuse victims. Mr. Kristof graduated with highest honors from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a major in history and a minor in Spanish. He went on to receive his master's degree in history in 2002, again graduating with highest honors, and then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2004. Mr. Kristof earned memberships with Phi Alpha Theta and the Golden Key International Honour Society. Most recently, Mr. Kristof has earned his Master of Laws in estate planning and elder law. He is admitted to practice law in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Mr. Kristof is currently a Candidate for a Doctorate in Juridical Science, the highest degree available in law, at Loyola University, School of Law, and is conducting original research on the Los Angeles County Probate Court.
Giving back to his community is important to Mr. Kristof. He has worked as a settlement officer for the Pro Bono Probate Settlement Program of the Los Angeles Superior Court and volunteered with the Pro Per Guardianship Clinic. Currently, he works as a Probate Volunteer Panel attorney for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Mr. Kristof is a member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Kristof recently completed his tenure as the Young Lawyer's Division of the American Bar Association as Liaison to the American Bar Association's Commission on Law And Aging.
