Ted Luymes completely changed they way I am looking at lawyers and legal handlings today. He is just fantastic. The communication with Ted is very uncomplicated, fast, caring. Thanks to Ted, we ended up settling a lawsuit from a very aggressive plaintiff without paying a penny. My Japanese employer (based in Tokyo, Japan), was sued by an aggressive American lawyer in California claiming we allegedly infringed his client's copyright. I contacted him about an amazon suspended account, he asked for all exchanged communication with them, which I sent, informing him that he will have to do some reading. He was prompt, courteous & stated within about 20 min that he didn’t think he could do much & that chances to regain the account wou...ld be under 10% & cost $5,000 upfront. it was probably meant to deter me. I am not sure if he checked all the exchange we sent but I appreciate being told this from the start, as another lawyer wanted me to sign a retainer and send a payment without going through my communication with amazon. But I appreciated less his clear irritation after we sent the emails he had asked for, stating his inbox was clogged. Well...you’re an attorney...your inbox is clogged by 10 messages that don't contain attachments ? Really ?
