Our daughter was wrongly accused of a worker's compensation felony offense that we were sure she did not commit. We were extremely concerned since it was a big company who is self-insured with many lawyers at their disposal to prove their fraudulent claims. We are 100% satisfied with the approach ...that Martin Lijtmaer took to get the case dismissed by the DA's office. Some observations about Martin include: • He is very personable and was able to keep us calm during stressful situations. • He was extremely professional with us, the lawyers in the DA's office, the witnesses, and the judge. • It would be hard to imagine a lawyer who would be more thorough in their investigation and preparation for any case. • He made it a priority to make himself available to us when we needed to talk to him. I was accused of a white-collar crime I did not commit. I heard of Martín through a friend, and was going to pick between him and another attorney. I chose the other attorney, and later switched to Martín when the other guy did not believe me, and was not representing me properly. Martín is, hands do...wn, a superstar. Here is a list of points that I observed while working with him: • He was respectful and clear when talking to the prosecution and to the other party’s representatives. • He made it clear each time he spoke to the prosecution that I was innocent. • He aggressively sought out every shred of evidence (or lack thereof) that could possibly help our defense. • He never sugar-coated the facts with me, and was honest, up-front, and proactive when exploring and explaining the worst-case scenario. • He thoughtfully chose an investigator that would not intimidate her audience when she was getting facts for the defense. • He listened to my parents’ questions and concerns patiently and were always willing to speak with them at length (they were paying, since I am a full-time graduate student and could not). • He was attentive and listened carefully each time we were on the phone. He let me know in advance if he was on a walk or driving, so I was aware of any necessary divided attention. • He kept his sense of humor throughout the ordeal, which was very beneficial to my psyche during the most stressful period of my life. • He was extremely well prepared for court, and dominated the courtroom in the Preliminary Hearing. • He did everything possible to get the case dropped before going to trial and was successful. (Although I would have loved to see him in action at a trial, I am so grateful that I did not have to go through the ordeal myself.) • He never doubted my innocence. Martín got my case dismissed before going to trial. Had we gone to trial, I have no doubt he would have worked as hard as he could to prove that I did not do the crime I was accused of. Had I lost, it would have ruined my career and my reputation, not to mention being convicted of something I simply did not do. Go with Martín, trust him, and he will do his absolute best for you.

I could not ever say enough about Martín's hard Work, he is always on top of things to win your case. You don't have to be looking for him, he will contact you and keep you up date.
