Lisa Tan

Lisa Tan is a founding partner of Russakow / Greene & Tan, LLP.  Her clients include companies in a variety of industries including software, financial services, pharmaceutical, chemicals, marketing, sales and distribution organizations.  Ms. Tan specializes in business litigation and civil litigation, with particular emphasis on unfair competition, business fraud, complex contractual, business tort matters for major local and national clients. She has also represented clients in litigation involving international business disputes.  Her experience includes all aspects of litigation from mediations to trials and arbitrations. 

Ms. Tan helps clients protect trade secrets through contracts, internal security procedures and litigation to prosecute and defend claims of misappropriation.  She advises companies on legal considerations when employees move between competitors; on fashioning restrictive covenant and intellectual property ownership agreements and protocols for resolving intellectual property use and ownership disputes outside of court.      

Ms. Tan received the distinction of being named “Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Los Angeles Magazine in 2009, 2010, and 2011.  She was also voted "Top Attorney" by her peers in Pasadena Magazine in 2009 and 2010.

Lisa Tan received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Southern California.  Ms. Tan is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and the United States District Court, Central and Northern Districts. She is an Ambassador of the Pasadena Bar Association and has served as Mandatory Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
