Bimal Kumar Sambhi

I filed for divorce in September 2021 and paid my retainer in full on the same day as my consultation. Since then, Atty Sambhi hasn’t called me, texted me, emailed me or sent me a billing statement. After months of no response, I terminated him as my attorney. Upon termination I requested my refund.... To date, not only has he not returned my money minus the consultation fee, his paralegal has threatened to take me to arbitration claiming he needs to be paid for hours he spent on my case, however he’s never billed me for it. Do not waste your time or money. The good reviews are from years past. Perhaps he was a very good and responsive attorney then, however my current experience with him is horrible. I’ve never had someone treat me so poorly after they expeditiously took their money from me and basically ran away with it. Do yourself a favor and find another attorney. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Bimal is an excellent attorney. His prices were great and I never felt that he was padding his bill or simply out for my money. Now that my divorce is final, he has continued to help me with my child custody issues that I have had with my ex-wife. He has had the dubious task of having to 'reign me... in' to keep me level headed during this highly emotional path towards achieving more custody of my sons. He could have easily acted unscrupulously, and followed my directives, but instead advised against certain legal actions which would have proved fruitless and cost me money. I would advise anyone that wants a fair and honest attorney to hire him.

This attorney is an example of why attorneys are spoken of in the least flattering of descriptions. He took on my case without providing objective counsel of how slim my chances were of winning the suit. He billed me regularly for 6 months and watched passively as we lost credibility with the presidi...ng judge. By the time I caught on, I had paid him $9000 and I lost more than what I started when I had first retained him. He is unscrupulous and incompetent as an attorney. I
