My undergraduate degree is from USC film school. For several years, I had a small production company and supported my creative work by waiting tables, as needed to survive. I also volunteered at Neighborhood Legal Services, helping domestic violence victims file restraining orders. It was that experience that turned me away from film and into law.
More than a job choice, it was my calling.
I wanted to help people every day.
During law school I clerked at a world-renowned plaintiff-side law firm. After graduation, I joined the firm and became a trial lawyer. In my time there, I learned how to advocate on behalf of the injured and wronged. I learned how to use the law to achieve social and economic justice for my clients.
Steele Cooper Law was formed to continue this work.
