Josh is the type of lawyer that every person should have, but doesn't. 30 years ago my mom used a different lawyer to make her estate plan. He was nice, but wasn't good at details. He didn't even spell my mom's name right. Not like a little bit, but like a totally different person's name. Fast ...forward 30 years, and my parents found Josh and asked him to update their estate plan (revocable living trust, will, durable powers of attorney, and advance health care directive). First off, let me say that I’ve known Josh Wang for years. His education and business background is excellent; and if you ever got the chance to meet him you’d know in the first 5min that you’re dealing with a down-to-earth person who’s as professional and knowledgeable as they come. I met with Josh ...recently because I’ve realized I’m not as young as I used to be, and I need to start planning for the future and what’s to become of my assets and my family if anything were to happen. Even though Josh has worked with some of the top law firms in the country, he took the time to help me with something as simple as my Will and Trust. He handled everything I could think of and even pointed out key things I needed to consider when it came to my beneficiaries and financial accounts. He was open and genuinely wanted to help me as if he was just as concerned about taking care of my family as he would his own. Josh moved at my pace during the whole process and didn’t rush me. His rates were the best I found anywhere near me and he insisted on making sure I was only charged for the work he felt was absolutely necessary. With Josh’s help, I’m confident all my questions and concerns have been taken care of and I can always contact him if I need to. I’m confident in Josh’s work and that my future and my family will be just fine. Josh offered his opinion on various estimate planning topics for me from mineral rights that are in different states, trusts, and wills. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to break down the complex ideas of law in a way you can understand. I would recommend him if you are just starting a f...amily and want to have things established for your children or from the other side if you are considering how to organize your estate in your older ages. Perhaps more so if you have estate planning documents already, but things need to be tweeted or adjusted. Josh offers lower rates for small adjustments than a total new rewrite for a document. In the past, I have worked with other estate planner lawyers, and he is willing to go on your pace and his rates are fare, regardless of how you look or the size of the estate.

It is so hard to find a good professional in any area - car mechanics, doctors, attorneys. When I find one I want everyone to know. Josh is one of those rare attorneys who actually cares about what's best for his client not his wallet. My Mom's Trust needed work. Every attorney I met said it had to... be completely recreated and would cost thousands of dollars. They made it sound so complicated and confusing. We hired one attorney who took 7 months to draft a new trust. It was so confusing and inaccurate my Mom asked, "Do we have to hire an attorney to review this attorney's work???". That's when we looked for a new attorney. We were so lucky to find Josh. I read his Yelp reviews and looked at his education from the top universities: UCLA Law School and MIT. I learned his work background was with the top law firms in the country. When I spoke to him he was clear and straightforward. When someone really knows a subject they are able to make it simple and easy to understand. We met him and immediately liked him. Don't be put off by the Beverly Hills address. It's professional but modest. He charged less than half the price of the other attorneys because he only did what was necessary to update and complete my Mom's Trust. And he did it in one week. Now, I'm using him for my own Will and Trust.
