Robert Carlin Burlison Jr

I'm the type of person who prefers to avoid attorneys and work out my own problems. Mr. Burlison was so easy for me to work with. He was very flexible. He responded to ALL my questions quickly and thoroughly and was readily accessible. He followed MY agenda, rather than trying to dictate to me wh...at he felt my agenda should be. It is extremely important to me that an attorney doesn't try to shackle me or sell me on how he/she thinks I should proceed. He helped me accomplish what I wanted to do, rather than what he decided was best for me. However, he was straightforward in cautioning me about my choices and making sure I understood the law and the appropriate way for me to proceed. The only reason I didn't give him an excellent rating in the "Knowledgeable" category is that divorce is not the primary activity in his practice. So far, I have been able to defend in court the terms of my divorce agreement, and I did have occasion to need to do so.
