Initially, we were informed that the life insurance policy had no designated beneficiary, which would have indeed required probate, a service we are well-equipped to handle. However, it was later determined that the policy did have a named beneficiary, meaning probate was not necessary in this instance. As a firm, we specialize in probate law and provide clear communication about the scope of our services, including our policy of not engaging in litigation. This is outlined in our service contract to ensure that clients are fully informed before proceeding. I understand your frustration, but it’s important to note that in cases like yours, litigation may sometimes be the necessary course of action, which is why we advise clients to seek counsel that can provide the appropriate legal services. Again, I’m truly sorry that this situation has been distressing for you, and I wish you and your family the best as you move forward.
