DePasquale & Cole has handled actions involving claims under the Federal Civil Rights Act, as well as under various California laws, such as the Unruh Civil Rights Act, the Bane Act (which protects rights from threat of violence) or Labor Code 1102.5, for whistle blower retaliation. We have trial experience in civil rights cases both as plaintiff's and defendant's counsel, in both state and federal courts.

We have handled wrongful termination cases (whistle-blowing, discrimination,, etc.) as plaintiff's counsel. We also have extensive experience in government and civilian employees in action arising from employment, including criminal and civil litigation in both state and federal court, as well as administrative hearings.

Lawyers can take advantage of clients in family law matters who are vulnerable and unfamiliar with the legal system. I have handled dozens of family law matters, for both husbands/fathers and wives/mothers. (I have not handled a same-sex dissolution, but would be happy to do so.) I have handled divorce, and cases involving custody disputes when the parents were never married.

My partner and I have been both plaintiff's counsel and defense counsel in various personal injury actions over the years, ranging from traffic accidents to product liability injuries to shootings.
