Still paralyzed and disabled. Unemployed for quite a while and social security tells me I have 2 years before my case even comes up for review. So after finally getting the point across to Mrs. Duffeys outreach team that im trying to get money to survive they forward me to another company whose apparently actually handling the case. I call and tell them how I found a company that will pay me and I pay them back when I collect a settlement. If I dont then im responsible for nothing. Sounds like a good deal. I have no doubts the premium for this will be exorbitant. But rn I cant afford groceries. Gas. My storage unit with property I don't want to lose, since Ive already sold everything I could spare and many things I didnt want to and moved into a trailer to survive. Hence a storage unit. After 48 hours of getting generic message after generic message I realize reach out people arent even paying attention to what I was asking. Im trying to get them to answer the phone so they can simply verify im under representation. After blowing up over this im finally given the number to a completely different office that apparently handles my case. She just signs me up so im told. Im told to call them. Just to be told they wont speak to any 3rd party companies including financial ones. Who cares if I starve and lose everything. This has got to be the most screwed up, bs, greedy, apathetic excuses for human beings possible. Even now, days later, after surely my grievances and demand for my contract to be terminated has be passed on and its still too much of an inconvenience to check on whats going on or even acknowledge my existence. Much less release me so I can get an attorney that will allow me to get money to live. In case I do manage to survive long enough for a settlement she wouldnt want to be short the money she makes off my disabled starving self. Pure greed and apathy. The walking embodiment of the worst of attorney stereotypes. Stay far away from this mess. The heartless ness to not only refuse to allow me to get help but to actively keep me from being able to receive assistance is astounding.
