Dominic took 25k to take my criminal case and never show up to represent me didn't even put in a single motion to benefit me I had a clear case on illegal search and seizure i had to hire another attorney i end up doing 7 years and I got out and went to his office multiple times and he never came o...ut his office even threatened to call the cops o. Me if I didn't leave never answer my calls he just took my money and by the time I was out they said it was to late to claim my money to the bar cause it was a statute of limitation worst lawyer ever never go to do business with him he is a crook and he will take your money and give you the long run until you can't claim it anymore he was highly recommended and turn out to be a fraud

Mr Dominic Trutanich Miss represented he could handle a foreclosure case in Sarasota Florida. Took the retainer of $5000.00 and never did anything for the case. Even with doing nothing and having to hire different attorneys in Florida when settled and case was won. Requested any billing or itemizat...ion of the account to be turned into the Sarasota County 12th district court so I could be paid back for the retainer. Mr Trutanich did not turn in any billings to the court. After speaking with Mr Trutanich on the phone he agreed to send back the retainer and in text agreed to send back the retainer.and to this day has yet to do so. This has gone over 7 years trying to recover the retainer. He will not return emails, text or calls. To this day I’m still trying to recover my retainer.

Dominic and Bonnie did an excellent job handling my eviction and stopping the bleeding. I have done two evictions 30 years apart from one another and Dominic handled both. It made the process very easy. The first was involved a dilapidated boat stored on my parents property by a tenant who sto...pped paying rent and was not stable. It required an order, an auction, and getting rid of the boat. More recently an alcoholic tenant who stopped paying rent and started destroying the property. I am an attorney, and probably could have figured out how to do one these myself. But the time I saved was well worth the retainer. Dominic is very knowledgeable about the court process, and practical considerations. Had I attempted this myself, I would have not be able to obtain a money judgment. Bonnie and Dominic did everything from filing to effectuating service on the tenant who had holed up in the property to getting a default judgment. Very thankful to have them on my side.

Mr. Trutanich helped me with a Landlord/Tenant matter in 2012. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and hard working. It was readily apparent in the courtroom that he knew much more than the other party's attorney. In addition, his courtroom demeanor and tactics, as well as his ability t...o argue a case, easily outshined the other lawyer. We won the case, including our attorney fees and court cost! There is NO WAY I could have achieved this result with ANY other Attorney!!! Anybody who says anything different, is a liar or a competitor - because this guy is GREAT!

Our family has worked very hard for what we have and do not air our differences in the courts. However when we were dragged into court we consulted and hired Trutanich to represent us in a relatively simple case that he stated would involve a few hours (5-6 of research work it be exact.) With no wa...rning, he handed the case over to a staff member who was the epitome of dull, uninspiring, vague, tongue tied, unprofessional counsel I have ever met. The bulk his counsel involved trying to get us to settle on a clear cut, unfair case that was outrageous to begin with. Then he tried to quit the case a couple of weeks before trial ,leaving us to seek other counsel, thankfully the intelligent judge in the case could see the specious argument that was being presented by the other side and the case never even had to go to trial . Aside from asking for money (3x what we expected costs to be) and then trying to have us settle and pay more for something for which we had no culpability, this firm is useless. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from them possible, any first year law student can give you better advise.
