Orange County Family Law Attorney | Compassionate, Strategic, and Results-Driven Advocate for YOU !!!
I am an Orange County attorney focused primarily on family law, representing clients through some of the most personal and high-stakes moments of their lives. My practice is centered on divorce, custody and visitation disputes, support issues, enforcement of court orders, and other complex family law matters where strategy, preparation, and calm advocacy make all the difference. I understand that family law cases are rarely just legal disputes—they affect children, finances, stability, and a client’s future. That is why I approach every case with both compassion and determination.
Clients deserve an attorney who listens closely, communicates clearly, and fights intelligently. I take pride in being responsive, practical, and solutions-oriented, while always being prepared to litigate aggressively when necessary. Whether the matter calls for negotiation, motion practice, or trial advocacy, I work to protect my clients’ interests and move their cases forward with strength and precision.
In addition to family law, my firm also handle select civil matters, particularly disputes that overlap with personal, property, or business-related issues. This broader litigation experience helps me see cases from multiple angles and advocate effectively when family law disputes intersect with civil claims or procedural challenges.
My goal is simple: deliver exceptional representation with professionalism, empathy, and relentless commitment to results. I know that when clients hire counsel, they are not just looking for legal knowledge—they are looking for someone they can trust to stand beside them, guide them honestly, and advocate powerfully on their behalf. I strive to be that attorney in every case I take.

Family law help
Lesley help me get custody back of my children after a nasty divorce. When my wife would not settle under any circumstances, she went into the courtroom and advocated on my behalf until we reached a fair agreement. I think most attorneys take your money and then eventually help you out. Lesley ...

When you need compassion and help, look no further
Outstanding advocate who will go the extra mile for you without charging for every telephone call. She really wants results for her clients. I had a difficult civil matter and she was able to get the other side to dismiss it without even having to go through the discovery process.

Horrible!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
Lesley is not true to her word and she didn’t show for 3 out of 4 court dates. It eventually led to my case being dropped. She did nothing but make things worse. Please don’t waste your time.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m truly sorry for the frustration you went through, and I want to offer some clarification while respecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your case. During the period you referenced, I was unexpectedly dealing with serious health issues and was hospitalized on the day of your hearing. I notified the court immediately and requested a second call, but the court did not grant it. I also arranged for a trusted colleague to appear on your behalf at no cost to you, but that offer was declined. Although the State Bar reviewed the matter and determined that no discipline was warranted, they did ask that I refund your fee, which I agreed to do and am in the process of completing. I understand how stressful court matters can be, and I’m genuinely sorry that my medical emergency impacted your case. My goal is always to provide diligent, compassionate representation, and I regret that circumstances outside my control affected your experience.

Good attorney with a genuine compassion
Lesley offered her consulting services to me for a very difficult family law issue. As most who've been there, this is the worst possible thing to go through and Lesley was very understanding and compassionate while sharing what my options were. With her kindness and knowledge, she helped me pu...
"I endorse this lawyer. Ms. Montion is an excellent attorney who advocates zealously for her clients. I have worked with her in the past and have found her to be both professional and courteous at all times."
"Lesley is not just a great lawyer who is well-respected by her peers and clients alike. She's also a joy to be around -- she'll brighten your day and put your mind at ease no matter how big the crisis is. (Unless, of course, you're the opposing party.)"
"As a newer attorney, I am very fortunate to share an executive suit with Lesley. She is a seasoned attorney who knows the ropes and how the courts function, which is why I ask her to associate with me on more complex cases. Would trust with my own divorce (if I was ever crazy enough to get married again)."
"Attorney Montion-Garcia is an excellent lawyer, and very knowledgeable in the areas of criminal and family law. She works diligently on her clients' matters, and pursues their legal objectives with compassion and steadfast determination. It is my pleasure to give this attorney my endorsement, and I highly recommend her for assisting you with your legal matters."
"I recommend Lesley for any potential client seeking a caring, knowledgeable and trustworthy attorney. She has demonstrated true compassion for her clients, and she will give her full efforts to achieve the best possible results for each of them."
"I have worked with Ms. Montion-Garcia on a few different matters and I have always respected her work ethic and her ability to relate to her clients."
"Lesley and I worked together on several issues surrounding Criminal Defense in Downtown Los Angeles. When I arrived in LA, Lesley was the one who showed me the ropes. She quickly showed me negotiating techniques that worked with each of the judges. She is extremely dedicated to her clients and does excellent work for them. I wholeheartedly endorse her."
