OUTCOME: All Charges Dismissed at Trial. Client returns home.

State v. FA Client was charged with Domestic Violence. Had to post 50k bail and was facing 1 year in jail. The court also had ordered our client to not come within 100 yards of his own home. We foug ... ht this case but the prosecution wanted jail time. We set a jury trial date and prepared for battle, but there was no battle. The prosecution dismissed the case on the eve of trial. Bail Exonerated. No Conviction. Protective Order Removed.

Police execute search warrant. Arrest client with scales, baggies, large amount of drugs, 2 shotguns and 3 handguns. client has prior prison record and a Strike under california's 3 strikes law. He' ... s charged with Felony Sales of Narcotics, Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and a Strike Allegation. Client was facing 8 years of prison time with 80 percent due to strike. After negotiations with prosecutors, i am able to have them 1) Dismiss Strike, 2) Dismiss Felony Sales Charges and have client plead to one count of Felon with a Gun and serve 8 months (16 months with half-time) with credit for 3 months in.

The Jury found my client NOT GUILTY of all charges and all charges were dismissed.

The other vehicle was being driven by an off-duty police officer who chased him. client then ran into another vehicle, fled again and was subsequently detain ... ed. Police determined him to be under the influence of alcohol, his blood alcohol was nearly 3x legal limit. He was arrested for 2 separate hit and runs and DUI. All Felony Charges. client had a prior DUI. After 3 months of negotiations, I was able to drop all felonies and have hit and run charges dismissed.
