La Costa HOA HIGHLY RECOMMENDS ESKRIDGE LAW
The La Costa HOA Board chose Eskridge Law to update our Declaration of Restrictions and Rules and Regulations documents for our condominium complex. These documents had not been revised in more than 40 years. We worked closely with Gayle Eskridge, principal of Eskridge Law. She attended our annual board meeting and was extremely helpful with the explanation of what needed to be done. Her knowledge and experience were of tremendous help to our Board and she was instrumental in helping us get the HOA documents revised and updated and filed with the county in a timely manner. In summary, we had an excellent experience with Eskridge Law and our board highly recommends Eskridge Law to any other HOA seeking legal help. Charles J. , La Costa HOA Board

Don't Hesitate
Gayle Eskridge is a very refined professional. I sought her legal help and trusted my past, present & future to her abilities. My trust was well-served. Gayle and her associates were thorough in their work, very compassionate, and maintained their focus for my three-year ordeal. Highly recommended.

$200,000+ Settlement
Gayle and her team are true professionals. She represented me in a wrongful termination action against a major national media corporation. The company settled out of court and I received over $200,000. It was a difficult time in my life and I'm happy to have had Gayle on my time – and that we prevailed.

Grateful for excellent services!
Gayle Eskridge has served our family's legal needs since 1993, we trust her implicitly and recommend her often. She has attended to matters of settling estates from several deceased members of the family and has organized our finances and tax representatives. She is hard working, thorough, and reliable.

Excellent legal advice, service, and advocate
We consider ourselves extremely lucky and blessed to have found Eskridge Law in our search for representation for an age discrimination and wrongful termination claim against my husband's former employer, a multi-billion dollar international corporation. There are so many variables that come into play when establishing the basis for a case and developing strategy, filing for discovery and responding to the defendant's actions; at any point along the way, a case can go wrong. Knowing that, plus the emotions of the situation, caused me to be very careful in researching my husband’s legal options. From our first meeting with Gayle Eskridge, we were listened to and our opinions were respected, and we rightly believed we were in good hands. We were an integral part of the process, with significant input; and received excellent responsiveness to questions, as well as clear and precise explanations of developments and problems. Gayle Eskridge herself, as well as the associates working on our case, worked efficiently and made the most of our meeting times. We utilized email to cut down on expenses, and they worked with us to keep costs down. Gayle's legal guidance was key in the success of my husband's case. She calmly balanced our feelings and heightened emotions with the legal realities; never telling us what to do, but explaining the options and giving us her opinion. Eskridge Law, as a whole, made an extremely stressful experience palatable. After an intense 18 hour long mediation session, resulting in a settlement, we were able to put the situation behind us and move on. My husband and I highly recommend Gayle Eskridge, and Eskridge Law.

Experience with Attorney Gayle Eskridge
Gayle helped me in a dispute with my employer. Gayle handled the entire matter in a very professional way and guided me through the negotiations. She was able to negotiate a fair settlement that allowed me me keep my job with a one year written guarantee and reduce a threatened salary reduction from $40K to $17K. Her handling of the situation removed the need to file a suit against the employer.

Excellent & trustworthy. Oriented to solving problems without litigation.
Gayle did the contract for a sale of a house with no real estate agents involved, and oversaw the process. Easiest escrow ever! Later she dealt with some property line issues between me and a next-door neighbor (different house). Got him to stop "annexing" my property without a lawsuit, and protected me from him creating an easement.

A lawyer you can count on
I stumbled on Gayle's law office through a phone book. Although I knew that it was not the best way to hire a lawyer,I got her to handle my case after learning later on in my initial consultation that she is a Super Lawyer. Being recognized by one's peers as a Super Lawyer was enough to convince me that Gayle has been in the battlefield with much success. As my relationship with and her staff progressed, I have noticed certain qualities about her that I thought would contribute to the success of my undertaking. Technically, I was impressed by her citations of case law in her correspondence with the opposing parties to bolster my positions. Secondly, she made sure that I did not suffer financially while my case was in process by getting me into disability with the state for health reasons. Gayle was also fair and square in dealing with me as she pointed out a weakness in my case. Despite this I was happy with the outcome of our mediation and I decided not to pursue my case in court as it would just create a lot of stress on my part. I will certainly hire Gayle again if the need arises.

Complete Trust
Was specific with regards to what I had to do to present myself in the best light (i.e. requested bringing in co-workers for statements and recommended psychologists). What's also not noted, and should be listed on a personal note, is the ability to put a client at ease during the whole process that may be overwhelming to the uninitiated. Most of the other legal workings were done efficiently and were in the background, however I received almost weekly emails and occasional phone calls that let me know the status of my case. Including a request to change judges for specific reasons that were told to me. The best quality, and perhaps the reason why my trust was cemented, is that she was willing to write the settlement contract herself to make sure I, the client, received the best terms regardless of her fees in this instance. It's hard to put into words, unless you were there, but there was an ardent feeling of fighting the good fight for integrity's sake without necessarily benefitting from the outcome.

Professional Legal Services regarding my suit against previous employer on unlawful terminationla
Gayle Eskridge was highly recommended by a friend to handle my case when I was unlawfully terminated in my employment upon my return from my medical leave. It was a hard case for me and my family since it hampered my employment applications since no good reference was being given to me. Atty. Gayle Eskirdge and her staff worked on my case in a very professional way. By giving them the details of what happened in my employment, they were able to assessed the big possibility of winning my case. We started by filing complaints to the Department of Labor and Employment summarizing what transpired me to file the case against my previous employer on grounds of unlawful termination and discrimination at work. All the cases that we filed against the defendant were supported and all documents neatly attached to all the case files. When the defendant's attorney asked for some discovery questions, Atty. Gayle Eskridge and her assistant lawyer, guided me on how to answer the questions. I really appreciate the way Atty. Gayle Eskridge handled my case so when we went to the court, I was full of confidence that we can win the case. However, due to our financial hardship, I decided to accept a settlement of the case. I was awarded an amount, not the amount we are trying to get if we pursue the case, but sufficient enough to make me and family settled for the sake of our peace of mind. After the settlement, Atty. Gayle Eskridge and her staff continuously sending me messages of how me and my family were coping up with the ending of the case. She is also sending me and my family cards on every occasion. I can highly recommend Atty. Gayle Eskridge to anyone who maybe in need of a good and trustworthy lawyer who can help in resolving their court cases.

Gayle negotiated double the final offer from my employer
After reporting sexual harassment to my employer, I was retaliated against and terminated. I tried on my own to fight for my job and I was offered a severance package to quietly go away. I decided to hire Gayle based on her exceptional reputation for handling labor law cases. Within a short time, Gayle was able to negotiate double the "final" severance that my employer had offered me. I would highly recommend Gayle to anyone considering hiring an excellent labor law/employment attorney.

Gayle helped me negotiate a sizable age-discrimination settlement from my former employer
I was a department head for a large corporation, and was "downsized" out of a job and told I "made too much money." I was sure it was also because of my age. I hired Gayle Eskridge to represent me. She knows the law, she cared about me personally, and she gave me the confidence to pursue my claim and proceed to arbitration. She was able to negotiate a substantial settlement for me prior to the arbitration hearing. I have recommended Gayle to two friends.

Highly recommend!
I wasn't sure who to turn to, but finally went with her for my legal matter. Gayle has been in the business a very long time. She knows what she is talking about. She helped me get a favorable and early settlement so I could get back to living my life. She kept me in the loop every step of the way, and I appreciated that. I'd recommend Gayle if you are seeking a strategic attorney who fights for you---whether its in an employment situation or in a business deal.

Wonderful Trustworthy Attorney
When I was wrongfully terminated, I didn't know who to turn to. I called several attorneys and couldn't find the right fit. Then I found Gayle Eskridge. She was extremely helpful and really seemed to put me first. With little effort, she was able to obtain a great settlement on my behalf, and an apology from my previous employer. I am giving her 5 stars and would highly recommend her to others.

Great attorney -- I would recommend
Gayle represented me in a discrimination/wrongful termination case. She wrote a demand letter for me, and asked for mediation. My wife and I were surprised that we went to mediation before even filing a lawsuit. I got awarded more money than I thought at the mediation, and got the termination changed to a resignation. This really helped my reputation. The whole thing was resolved in a few months. Gayle knows what she is doing, and is a strong advocate. I am very happy with her firm, and would recommend her to others.

Former Client | Employment and Labor Law
This is a disingenuous law firm founded by a non-ABA accredited correspondence law school graduate. I retained Gayle Eskridge's services (founder of Eskridge Law) in what would ultimately be a career ending, wrongful termination case. She and her associates proceeded to slow-walk my case for well over a year. During this time, Gayle produced what I would consider to be some of the worst legal writing I've ever encountered. How she allowed this work product to be seen by me, not to mention potential defendants/opposing counsel, continues to elude me. To this day, I occasionally review my case documents; discovery did, by the way, cost me well over $200,000. I remain astounded by her ineptness, indecisiveness, and vacuous understanding of my case’s fact pattern. In this instance, as both an attorney and advocate, she was patently out of her depth. Unfortunately for me, she was also acutely aware of my financial standing. After bilking me, she promptly let my case die on the vine. I was compelled to contact several attorneys specializing in legal malpractice. Without divulging the outcome, the unanimous consensus was that, “…she used you like an ATM.” In her defense, I did suspect early on that she was a long shot. I failed to heed the many instances that betrayed her true intention of indefinitely delaying my case while billing for every conceivable incidental expense. The timeliness and painstakingly detailed nature of her invoices belied her inadequate attention, and outright inaction, for anything truly advancing my case. After repeated attempts at imploring her to file on my behalf failed, and after she began to realize that monthly invoices for $18,000. were no longer tenable, her work was complete. She had one of her associates hastily pass me off to another firm. In the end, I would lose my career. I would file for bankruptcy. And, I would have no one to blame except for myself. Obviously, I cannot recommend Gayle Eskridge for anything except the most rudimentary labor/employment law matters.
