Nicholas Pollack

I called the offices of Nicholas Pollack to see if I could renew my work permit. I have been a client of his for over 5 years, even though the staff was rude and at times felt unwelcome, I kept going with him as the attorney fees were being paid in payments . I had gone into his office to ask for... a copy of my file probably 6 months before calling in today. After of course, charging me for it. I was provided with a copy of my file. I had not renewed my work permit for a couple of years therefore I called to see if I could go back to their office and renew it. I was told that being that I had ask for a copy of my file they would have to check with the attorney to see if they could still assist me. I told them that I was not aware that I was not allowed to ask for a copy of "my" file. The attorney will be out until Wednesday I was told but, we will check with him to see if we can still assist you. I am so disappointed that after paying the attorney fees and being a client for years it all comes down to asking for a copy of "my" file. I would not recommend this attorney nor will I go back, I rather start from scratch and look for an attorney who will not make me feel I just need to give him my money to be seeing. Not sure if I should complain about the attorney or about the staff. I am obviously not an attorney but, if there are any steps I missed I think that the staff (being that I deal more with them) , should have notified me of any changes or concerns.
