John W Chang

John W. Chang is a founding partner at the law firm of Patinelli & Chang, LLP. Mr. Chang is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law as recognized by the State Bar of California board of legal specialization.

Prior to joining Patinelli & Chang, LLP, John headed the estate administration and probate department over the course of nearly 9 years for one of the largest estate planning law firms in Southern California where he handled and supervised hundreds of trust administration cases.

John was born in Taiwan and raised right here in Torrance. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Riverside, in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Western State University, College of Law.

John still resides in Torrance with his lovely wife and two very active boys. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, tennis and is involved once a month in a free legal clinic to serve the community.
