H Wayne Bibee

I am a former prosecutor for the city of Long Beach. For over fifteen years I handled thousands of criminal, DUI and traffic related cases at all stages of the proceedings, from pre-filing investigation, filing and arraignment to jury trial and appeal. I have tried eighty-five cases with overall strong results, including DUI, domestic violence, battery, trespassing, resisting/interfering with police, theft, burglary, forgery, drug possession, and sex crimes. I also trained other prosecutors and in 2003 I was named Attorney of the Year by the Long Beach City Prosecutor's Office.

During part of my service as a prosecutor I specialized in DUI cases and supervised a DUI unit . I have tried many DUI cases and have received extensive special training in DUIs from various reputable organizations including the National District Attorneys Association, the California District Attorneys Association and the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. This special training and experience has given me in-depth knowledge about the science associated with DUI cases and the numerous possible defenses.

I have successfully completed extensive training at some of the most prestigious trial advocacy programs in the country. These include the Criminal Justice Institute at the Hastings College of Law, the Trial Advocacy Institute at the University of Virginia School of Law and the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina. This special training and my extensive trial experience make me especially well equipped to defend my client's rights.

I believe every citizen should have the right to aggressive, competent and affordable representation in criminal and DUI cases. I am eager to fight to defends my client's rights and achieve the best possible results.
