I'm a single mom I told her I can't afford to pay a lot for lawyer n she agreed. She told me to send her $600 n she would start my case n charge me after she reviews. Most lawyers don't charge for consultation but she did charge for phone conversations N review of few documents that does not take 15 ...minutes to read. She is dishonest. Whatever retainer you give her she will use it up n say I had to do research n phone calls. She should have told me it will cost $600 to just look at my documents n she will never see you face to face. She told me to meet her in Santa Monica office n she never showed up.
