Biography
I have been defending people accused of crime since 1973. Starting out as a Los Angeles County Public Defender, I went into private practice in Santa Monica where I continue to practice today. I handle all types and sorts of criminal matters, from DUIs including DMV issues, drug cases, domestic violence, thefts and frauds including identity theft, assaults and battery, probation violation matters and expungements and criminal record clearing. I have personally handled from start to finish over 2500 cases during my 40+ years of practicing criminal law, and the majority of my clients come to me from referrals from satisfied old clients. Legal services are personal services and I pride myself on delivering consistently great personal service. Apparently my client base thinks I'm doing a great job because of their confidence in me when their friend or relative gets in a jam and needs a criminal lawyer.
