Unethical and Demented - AVOID!!!

Knickerbocker is a disgrace for legal profession!! I too would give Richard zero rating if it was available, took money and never did anything on the case and when i requested refund he quickly wrote several pages and claimed he earned the money I gave him. Very dishonest and tricky! When you get to ...him you have one problem when you hire him you will have one more!! AVOID! Also, not only is he rude, but his paralegal wife Saloy that answers his phone calls has a severe attitude. Knickerbocker is hands down a terrible lawyer who did not help me, which is why I would never recommend this man to any friends or family. I hope karma comes back to him after how he's treated my family and clearly many of his unfortunate clients.

Sad to even call this man a lawyer

If I can give this "lawyer" a rating of zero stars, I would without hesitation. He is definitely not responsive, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and does not keep you informed by any means. Senile, lazy, rude, and early dementia best describes him. He gets irritated when you try to follow up with your ...case and gives you the run around. The one thing he's good at is avoiding the situation and just letting precious time go by. I've waited 6 months or more for something positive to happen with my case, but he gives me excuses about why he cannot handle it in a timely manner. He has other clients so he says. Not only is he rude, but his wife that answers his phone calls has a severe attitude. He's hands down a terrible lawyer and I would never recommend this man to any friends or family. I hope karma comes back to him after how he's treated so many of his unfortunate clients. I do not normally do bad reviews for anything. I usually just ignore the bad experience and move on, but this is too much money for anyone to spend on a disrespectful less than lawyer like Knickerbocker. This is a warning to all of you potential clients out there!! Keep your money away from this guy. You will come out with more headaches than solutions to your problem!

Very Disappointing, Waste of Time and Money

I hired Mr.Richard Knickerbocker in 1992 to expunge my case which was thought to be no problem due to the nature of the misdemeanor, the amount of time that had passed w/o any further problems etc. I was very young at the time and took his word that it was taken care of only to find out that he NEVER... even filed the petition!!! I have called him several times to clarify this matter and or help me file the petition he was paid to file but he has never returned my calls!!!
