Frank Hakim

I am one of the founding partners of Davis*Gavsie & Hakim, LLP. I have been practicing labor and employment law for more than 31 years. My firm exclusively handles labor and employment law matters on behalf of employees and employers, such as sexual harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination (on the basis of race, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, medical condition (cancer), sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy), retaliation for protesting discrimination, harassment or other violations of law (whistle-blowing), wage and hour issues, negotiation of employment contracts and separation agreements, preparing employee handbooks, investigating discrimination and harassment charges, sexual harassment training, and providing advice and counsel to employers.

I personally handle every case from the beginning to the end.

I am also a Mediator and mediate Employment disputes at all stages of the case.

I have spoken on labor and employment related issues on live radio programs and television show. I was a speaker for the Los Angeles County Bar Association program regarding the California Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act ("PAGA"). I was also a speaker for a Santa Monica Bar Association program regarding the National Labor Relations Board’s Scrutiny of Employers’ Confidential Investigation Policies.
