So my title "excellent to consult with" is accurate but right up front I want to share that I was 100% ready to go forward with David but then it turned out the lawyer my husband hired had some roadblocks in place making it a better option for me to hire a full litigator so David himself advised it w...ould be a good idea to go a different route. In other words, he did not try to convince me to keep our plan, a plan I was completely wanting to do, for the sake of making money. I can guess that anyone coming on here to check reviews knows, this type of looking out for a client behavior is not a given. After I talked with David the first time, because he was incredibly informative, I knew that I wanted our consultation to be two hours instead of one. If your case is anything less than easy I would suggest this for you as well (if he has time in his schedule of course). David gave me more clear information in those two hours than I managed to get out of my retained lawyer in the first few months. Really I can't recommend enough. I am only bummed that I can't find more places to refer him as people need to know he is out there and exists. Ah! I can also add that when trying to figure out what direction to go (mediation only or litigate) I spoke to ½ a dozen lawyers all of which had either heard of him or knew him and had good things to say. One particular lawyer had told me I HAD to get a litigator and not to go with a non-litigating attorney but when she asked his name and I told her, she immediately reversed course. So, his reputation for being nice and fair is there. He responds to you (YES friends, he really does), is incredibly informative and more than fair with his time/price.
