Highly recommend for our family!

We had an excellent experience working with The Weg Law Group (aka Legacy Planning Group) for our estate planning and trust!!!! We are based in the SF Bay Area, Northern California. We started our initial call with Geoff’s firm in June 2025 and officially signed our documents on January 12 this ye...ar. The process took time because we had important life decisions to work through, plus life got busy, and we truly appreciated how patient, supportive, and never pushy the entire team was. We never felt rushed, and no question ever felt dismissed or “stupid.” Geoff asked very thoughtful questions and took a holistic approach to estate planning, especially important since we own different types of assets. I had a more complicated situation, and he did an excellent job breaking everything down into clear, bite-sized steps, which made the trust process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. The intake process was also easy and straightforward. Nathan Wray was extremely helpful in answering follow-up questions and providing clarification even before we signed. When Nathan was on holiday, Ingris and Laura stepped in and were just as responsive and helpful. Geoff was also very open to collaborating with our life insurance agent, which made the planning process feel truly comprehensive and well-coordinated. We just felt super taken care of. The notary they arranged was professional, the documents were high quality, and the overall guidance and value we received exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a trust attorney or estate planning law firm that is knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and genuinely supportive, give this firm a try!!

Poor communication

This firm was referred to us by, and was sent our existing estate file, by our retiring estate planning lawyer. First they contacted us by letter, offering a discounted consultation. Great, but they sent us not one but two letters, both getting my name wrong. One of the letters got my spouse's name... wrong, too. Seriously concerning this is the firm we're supposed to trust to handle our Trust? After we're dead, it's too late to fix mistakes. Trying to phone them just to retrieve the file our retiring lawyer had sent them proved to be an ordeal. The answering service takes no messages and requires you to leave a voicemail or email a general email box, so you never know who you're dealing with. I left a voicemail and also sent an email as instructed. Someone named "Laura" phoned me back pretty promptly but defensively said it wasn't her that had sent the mistake-filled letters. Then after starting to tell me she'd send our files, mid-sentence, she disconnected the call, which seemed intentional since she didn't call me back. It was impossible to call her back since there's no Laura in the firm phone directory. Now I don't know if I'm ever going to see my original documents or not.
