Juan Francisco Dotson

I met Juan when he answered a Craig’s list ad to sublet my house for two months while I was to be out of the country. He didn’t end up staying at my place, but in our short meeting together I learned two important things. First, that he was an immigration lawyer. Second, and more importantly, that... he could be trusted. Juan is one of those people who wears his goodness and responsibility on the outside. One month later, when I was waiting at the airport for a flight to Denmark, I remembered that Juan had said to call him anytime, so I did. I was about to get married in Lithuania and realized that I just might need his help, soon. But more than that, what I needed at that moment was his calming reassurance that he could handle every curve that the immigration process was sure to present. For the next ten months, Juan was my lawyer and security blanket. He was almost always available when I called or Emailed and if he wasn’t he got back to me soon. He never let me down and he was always there. He made me feel like I was the most important client he had. He even called me during a trial recess, more than one, which reassured me that my faith in him was well placed. For those of you who have had a relative immigrate to the US, you know how stressful the whole process can be. It can be overwhelming. Juan kept my anxiety in check. His “bedside” manner was faultless. For those of you who are considering bringing a relative to the US or anyone through immigration, I recommend Juan Dotson completely, because I trust him completely. Juan gives lawyers a good name. In fact he gives humanity a good name. And I don’t think I can emphasize that enough. Juan is a knowledgeable lawyer who gets the job done, but most of all, he truly cares. And he does his best to never let you forget it. If this sounds like a love letter, it is. Because of Juan, I am now married to the love of my life. My new wife, her ten-year-old twins and I are living in the same house, where I first met Juan. And I can say with all honesty, it wouldn’t have happened without him… although my wife did have a bit to do with it. Thank you Juan. And I promise that the barbeque, that I have been promising for six months is coming soon with the warm weather. I can’t wait for you to officially meet the (your) family.
