KPAC-General Vice President

I hired Jennifer to help us with a complicated hazardous waste generator tax assessment. The tax was levied on us for some property we purchased for new construction. During the grading phase, hazardous waste was discovered and properly disposed of. Subsequently (much later), we were assessed by the ...State with taxes and penalties for being a "Hazardous Waste Generator". Although we were unable to have the taxes waived, Jennifer relentlessly navigated a settlement that allowed us to avoid the penalties and interest. She worked diligently to mitigate the fees and continuously kept us informed throughout the process. She made herself available to us at all time and was a pleasure to work with. She's an advocate you want on your! side.

Ms. Novak was exceptional. She kept in contact with us, was very thorough, and made us feel comfortable as we progressed through our challenges. Her office was always available and quick to respond to our questions. We would highly recommend her.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
