I was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1955. I have been designated by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization as a California Certified Family Law Specialist in Family Law in former years.
I am currently a sole practitioner at the Rolling Hills Esates law firm, Law Office of Jack I. Esensten, where our practice is limited to family law with an emphasis in complex property /asset division and support cases.
In 1955, I earned my Juris Doctoratedegree from Southwester University. In 1951, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
I have served as a Pro Bono Family Law Mediator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court for the past 30 years. I have also served as past officer and President of the South Bay Bar Association, and have served on the Peer Review Committee for Family Law of the State Bar of California.
As a Southern California native of Palos Verdes Estates, CA, I have been a part of the South Bay community over fifty years. Finally I am also active in the legal community and am a member of many organizations, including the South Bay Bar Association, and the Family Law Sections of both the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
