Alicia Olivares

As a partner at Feldman Browne Olivares, Alicia Olivares is dedicated to serving employee clients in the Greater Los Angeles, California, area. Focusing her practice on labor and employment law, she accepts a wide variety of cases, including wrongful termination, whistleblower retaliation, protected leaves of absence, discrimination, racial harassment, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, FMLA disputes, and similar matters.

Ms. Olivares graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge, in 1991. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 1995. While there, she was the editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. She joined the predecessor to her current firm in 1999.

With more than two decades of experience, Ms. Olivares dedicates her entire practice to protecting workers’ rights and obtaining compensation for harms caused to workers by their employers, and she has been able to achieve significant settlements and jury awards for her clients. She is admitted to practice in California, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Olivares is frequently asked to deliver presentations to groups of fellow attorneys on employment law topics such as mediating claims arising under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and employee leave. She is an active participant in a variety of professional organizations. A member of the Diversity Outreach Committee of the California Employment Lawyers Association, Ms. Olivares is also a member of Consumer Attorneys of California and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
