WARNING — POTENTIAL FRAUD — Luminary Law Group (Kreetee Dutta & C. Jonathan Sung/Hong) I retained Luminary Law Group in February 2026 for an EB-1C Green Card petition, paying the full retainer of $16,000 in attorney fees, plus additional government fees for Premium Processing — the full amount as ag...reed and invoiced by the firm. The facts: After collecting payment in full — including Premium Processing fees — attorneys claimed the petition had been filed. However, when I requested proof of filing, receipt notices, or any USCIS confirmation, they refused to provide any documentation whatsoever. From the moment the second payment was made, both attorneys became completely unreachable. As of June 10, 2026 — they have not responded to: Multiple emails Phone calls to both attorneys individually and to the office A formal legal Notice of Substitution of Counsel sent by my new attorneys demanding return of my complete client file To date, I have heard nothing from them. Current status: My new legal counsel has issued a formal Notice of Substitution of Counsel. Luminary Law Group has not responded to them either. I am filing a complaint with the California and Georgia State Bar and pursuing all available legal remedies for full recovery of all fees paid. If you are considering retaining this firm — proceed with extreme caution. Do not pay until you have verified their credentials independently or even better find someone else.

Pls if you re looking for an immigration lawyer pls hire them.. you won’t regret it. I count myself lucky to have them be a part of my immigration story. I consulted them two days before my green card interview because my prior lawyer was incompetent and despite the short notice they were able t...o prep me for my interview and believe me not many firms would do it that. Now I would use them by God’s grace for my citizenship.
