Jamie Lynn Keeton

I am a partner at Schlichter & Shonack, LLP with extensive experience in Business Litigation and Catastrophic Personal Injury. I represent both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and general civil litigation, and have handled cases ranging from assault and battery at high-profile Orange County night clubs to multi-million dollar real estate litigation, including construction defect.

During my career, I have participated in many mediations and trials. Plaintiff's cases that I have handled have resulted in settlements or judgments in excess of $13 million dollars, and my defense victories, including jury verdicts, have saved my clients millions of dollars. My practice includes taking cases through all phases of litigation, from the initial filing of papers, through written discovery, discovery requests and depositions, court appearances, and continuing through trial. Our firm prides itself on its motion practice, and has recently obtained several victories in Federal Court on motions to dismiss, which were published in the Daily Journal. 

I received my BA in History from Arizona State University before moving to Los Angeles to obtain a Master's Degree in Russian at UCLA. After successfully negotiating two employment contracts with one of the largest employers in the state of California, I pursued my JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Since becoming a member of the bar, I have practiced in personal injury, premises liability, product liability, government claims and business litigation. I am fluent in Russian and a member of the bar of the District of Columbia.

I have been a member of the CAALA and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. I am currently a member of the WTLA, and the LACBA, and NAPW.
