Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Dan for a number of years and there is no one I would trust better to handle an admin per se matter than he. He is familiar with the law, knows the hearing officers, and tells clients the truth about their cases. I have recommended clients to him secure in the knowledge that they will be in the best hands possible. He's a passionate attorney, a hard worker and, importantly, he is a nice guy. There are not many attorneys who specialize in Dan's field and in my opinion, he's the best."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I highly endorse Mr. Lidman. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares for his clients. Also, he is probably the best administrative DUI attorney in California. A lot of criminal attorneys will handle the administrative DMV hearings as well as the criminal matter, but in fact they are not true specialists in DMV administrative hearings. Mr. Lidman is, and he should be hired to handle that portion of the case."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
