Abogada Luz is the Owner and Managing Attorney of the Law Office of Luz Tijerina-Garduño where she practices Immigration and Nationality Law along with Criminal Law.
Ms. Tijerina-Garduño received her Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School in 2013. She graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills with a bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. She received "Honors" in both majors and was recognized as an "Outstanding Student" by the faculty members of her departments. She is admitted to practice in the State of California.
Ms. Tijerina-Garduño handles a wide variety of immigraiton matters including; family-based petitions, adjustments of status, consular processes, naturalizations, and various waivers. Abogada Luz also appears before USCIS at interviews and before the Executive Office of Immigraiton Review representing clients in removal and deportation cases. Ms. Tijerina-Garduño has an extensive practice in representation of clients for bond hearings.
Abogada Luz also handles Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases in the Probate and Family courts as well as before USCIS.
In her free-time Ms. Tijerina-Garduño enjoys reading about true crime, DIY's, and spending time with her husband and two year old son.
