Go elsewhere!

I hired Kipper to handle my divorce. My ex and I ultimately mediated, and that's the direction any reasonable attorney should have suggested immediately. Instead, Kipper and my ex's attorney effectively colluded in pushing us down the path of litigating, which was ridiculously expensive and, more... importantly, non- sensical, given that we trusted each other. With respect to the service itself: My financial affairs are pretty complex and I did not feel as if Kipper and his not-particularly-effective associate ever really understood them. Finally, I've hired plenty of lawyers in my life, and I found the billing time-keeping practices of this firm to be among the most egregious I've encountered. Bottom line: Strongly recommend going elsewhere (ideally to mediation, first).
