Guardian angels do exist on earth. Mine is Joni Solomon, unmatched in high-conflict custody, trauma-informed family law

I’m writing this because I want other parents who are stuck in high-conflict situations to know what it feels like when someone finally steps in and brings order, protection, and clarity into your life. Joni Solomon is the fourth attorney on my very long, exhausting case, and I truly didn’t realize ...how much I had been carrying until she took over. The relief was almost immediate. Before she came in, every notification on my phone made my stomach drop. I had to mentally prepare myself before opening emails because they were always full of accusations or twisted stories meant to escalate things. When she took over, she didn’t just respond she absorbed all of that stress for me. She filtered what I needed to see, softened the tone, redirected conversations back to what actually mattered, and shielded me from the emotional warfare that had become normal. I honestly didn’t realize toxic it was until the day it finally stopped reaching me. One thing about Joni that stands out immediately is the respect she receives from everyone around her. I’ve watched other attorneys walk up to her in the hallway, not to chat, but to ask her opinion about their own cases. They listen to her with this mix of appreciation and relief, like they trust her judgment more than their own. And that tells you everything. Her foresight is something I still don’t fully understand. She often predicted the other side’s next move before they even did it. There were times she prepared me for filings or arguments I had no idea were coming and then they appeared exactly as she warned.. For the first time in years, I felt really protected instead of constantly reacting. Her presence changes everything. She isn’t loud and she never makes a scene, but when she speaks, the room listens. She’s calm, grounded, and incredibly clear. Even when the other side tries to throw distractions or pressure tactics, she doesn’t budge. I started noticing that her steadiness almost forces everyone else even opposing counsel to rise to a higher standard. Family law can feel like a maze when you’re emotionally drained, but she explains things step by step. She tells you what matters, what doesn’t, and why. I had moments where I spiraled into worry, and she would calmly walk me through the reasoning behind each move. I can’t explain how comforting that was. I’ll never forget how she handled a court-listed evaluator who caused enormous stress in my case. I felt like my children’s safety was going to be jeopardized all for her own financial gain. But Joni exposed it with such quiet precision that it changed everything. She didn’t attack anyone. She simply laid out point-by-point inconsistencies so clearly that the truth revealed itself. The judge saw exactly what she needed to see. I didn’t have to defend myself or relive anything painful. Joni carried that for me with grace and control. It was the first time in years I felt justice happening right in front of me. She also understands trauma in a way I’ve never experienced from an attorney. She knows the patterns, the fear responses, the emotional exhaustion that comes from prolonged conflict. She recognized those things in me long before I put words to them. She validated my experience without ever letting it derail the strategy. She kept me steady even when the other side tried to provoke, intimidate, or confuse me. What stands out most is that she never treated me like a victim or someone barely surviving. She spoke to me as if the truth was already on our side and because of that, I finally started believing it too. She gave me back a sense of dignity I didn’t even realize I had lost. She is incredibly ethical and very conscious of cost. She doesn’t waste time or energy on unnecessary battles. She keeps the case focused on the kids and the long-term outcome. Her discipline and fairness is something I never saw in previous attorneys. I’m deeply grateful she took my case. She is truly exceptional!

Integrity and honor resonates with her as she fights for you!

Joni went above and beyond to protect my 3 yr old and I from a very serious and dangerous non-custodial parent. It was a long 6 yr custody battle. I didn’t have much money at the time and she gave me free consultation. She fought hard for my son and I. We had a really hard complex case but Joni is ve...ry KNOWLEDGEABLE !! She knew statutes better than the five opposing councils that were hired by the other party. You can’t lie to her because she reads your declaration with a fine tooth comb! She isn’t just an attorney for higher, she is your family’s advocate!! Her reputation of integrity and morals proceeds her in the courtroom. I asked her once to verify some of the things that the opposing party was doing to prove that it was fraud. Joni told me that she could not be my witness and my council. However, the other party parties, Attorney was both a witness and council to the opposing party. The judge ruled in our favor because we maintained our integrity! It is really important to select an attorney who truly cares about you and your family. Joni is that Attorney!! We owe our lives to her!!

My Consultaion with Joni Salomon

I spoke with Joni Salomon recently regarding my family High conflict case. I have been going through truma as well as my daughter during the process. It is very draining. She was very knowledgeable and gave me insights on my case that my previous attorney had not, I was left confused and felt alon...e even with my counsel. I was even asked a inappropriate questions. I had a Attorney that did not help me understand the process and did not fight for me our my child, im left with a big bill and still need legal representation and that alone made my counsel a horrible experience for me. For quit some time I have been looking all over for a excellent Attorney to represent me and Speaking with Joni it made it very clear what I was experiencing in my case, Joni is very knowledgeable and was super helpful, very professional and kind and passionate. Bronx to Cali

Ten years ago in 2010, I found myself in Los Angeles County Superior Court, fighting to spend more time with my two year old daughter Cali. My first lawyer undeserved me and over charged me, creating a hardship for me by influencing me to travel from the Bronx to Los Angeles every other week, (yes, e...very other week) for several months, with supervised visitations and only two hours increment visits. I incurred thousands of dollars in airfare, hotels, rental cars, food, etc.; none of these monthly expenses were tax deductible or towards child support.
