Aside from divorcing by husband, the best decision I made was to hire Jonathan Levin to represent me. Jonathan was honest, thorough and fought for me. I can’t thank Jonathan enough for his dedication to my case and returned money to me that wasn’t used for my retainer. His intimate knowledge of the ...law saved me a tremendous amount of money.

I wouldn’t ever recommend this lawyer. I needed an attorney to help me file for my friendly divorce and make sure my agreement with my ex was safe. We already had a verbal agreement and my ex-husband's lawyer was drafting it. I need him to review it. I was very clear from day 1 about my budget and ...what I needed his help with. He agreed and seemed very professional at the beginning and willing to help and work with that budget. He advised me to file for divorce on my own, that way was going to be cheaper. I agreed(since I was on a budget) that I paid an extra $500 from outside the $4k retainer I gave him. He helped me fill it out and sent an email to my ex-husband's attorney. That was the only thing he did. Plus sending an email for me to do the disclosure but he never helped or spent time with me doing it. And guess what?! He used half of the retainer. Almost 2k plus the 500 dollars. He didn’t help me with the disclosure and not with the divorce agreement. He charged me for 5 hours of work when he probably did 2 maximum. It made me fill for my divorce on my own, to make me feel like I was saving money, and didn't have an attorney to represent me, but then when the bill came I paid enough money to have a lawyer fill it for me and represent me. Plus, he charged me 100 dollars in the invoice for only replying with ok in an email. I am shocked to trust this attorney. I complained about the absurdity of the invoice and he gave me a 15% discount. It's just ridiculous to me to have to pay that amount of money for not getting any service done. I hired another extremely professional attorney, she did the work he was supposed to do, like filing for the divorce, and represented me, she reviewed the agreement, finalized my divorce, and only charged me 1.5k. She worked on the budget that i always left clear that I had.

Mr. Levin represented me for approximately one year in a family law case. He is extremely knowledgeable and honest, always giving good advice. He is also available. I was not ever left wondering when he would get back to me. And I felt like he cared just as much about my case as I did. He was recomme...nded through the California Bar Association.

I've known Mr. Levin from our younger years, and we became reacquainted as I was entering my own law practice just as he was begining his law school years, and we have remained in close contact as he commenced his legal career and through our years practicing law. Though I am in a distinctly differe...nt environment and practice areas, as he developed his matrimonial and entertainment practices I would have occasion to converse with him on a variety of subjects as they relate to our practices, issues with clients and business practice, due diligence on legal issues, as well as client questions in his areas of expertise. Jon is a natural lawyer, and will have insight most will not. I've also found his work ethic and perfectionism inspiring. His clients can rest assured he will leave no stone unturned in pursuit of their goals.

I have used Mr. Levin to handle my legal matters on many occasions. I can't say enough about him. He has always conducted himself in a professional manner. His vast knowledge of the law, attention to details, work ethic and people skills is very impressive. He has the unique ability to see things on ...a "3 dimensional" level.
