I’m not just an estate planning attorney. I’m also a mother, a wife, and someone who understands how deeply personal it is to protect the people you love.
Becoming a parent changed the way I think about family, security, and legacy. It made estate planning feel less like a collection of legal documents and more like what it truly is: a way to care for your family, prepare for the unexpected, and make difficult moments easier for the people who matter most.
I am also autistic and have ADHD. Understanding how my brain works has helped me recognize why I am naturally drawn to systems, patterns, careful organization, and clear communication. Those strengths shape the way I practice law. I work hard to make complicated legal information easier to understand and to create an estate planning process that feels structured without being rigid, professional without being impersonal, and thorough without being overwhelming.
I co-founded Dietz & Dietz, APC with my husband, William. Together, we help California individuals and families prepare trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and other estate planning documents.
Our work is about more than preparing paperwork. We want our clients to understand what they are signing, why it matters, what happens next, and how their plan will protect the people they love.
My approach includes:
• Explaining legal concepts in plain language
• Creating thoughtful systems that reduce confusion
• Respecting that families come in many different forms
• Recognizing that estate planning can feel emotional or overwhelming
• Helping clients make informed decisions with greater confidence
Estate planning should feel clear without feeling cold and personal without sacrificing professionalism.
From a lawyer’s perspective, planning matters. From a mother’s perspective, the people you love are the entire reason it matters.
My goal is simple: every client interaction should leave you feeling more informed, more prepared, and more confident than when you arrived.
