I came to Grace, Basil and Michael with a case that could have dragged on for years, and cost me thousands annually, as well as the emotional burden and painful distraction that a continued divorce issue would inevitably create far into the future. Grace and her team immediately got accurately and... comprehensively up to speed in my case, determining the correct strategy while not over looking the other directions my case could have taken. The result was far better than I thought possible. Grace saw an opportunity to close out my entire situation, and using her intuitive and skilled application of the law and people savvy, saved me an annual expense of thousands as well as years of frustration. A bad review here accused them of caring only about billing…completely absurd! If that were the case I would have been a prime candidate for such behavior…when in fact what they did was rescue me, cutting to the heart of the matter and brilliantly out maneuvering opposing counsel. The atmosphere at their office is friendly and professional; a well-oiled machine with a sense of family and inclusion not only between themselves, but with their clients as well. I retained Grace Jamra last year to handle my divorce. Grace was not only empathetic to my situation but was a great advocate for me in my particular case. On several occasions, Grace even communicated with me during late evenings and weekends when I was faced with some urgent matters. Grace was w...ell aware of my limited resources and wisely picked my battles against my husband's heavy-handed tactics. She was able to resolve my case quickly by bringing us to the settlement table without further court intervention and without a serious hemorrhage to my pocketbook in legal fees. Grace handled the settlement conference superbly against opposing counsel and was able to get me a far better settlement than what any judge would have given me! I have read the recent posts about Grace and found my experience to be the complete opposite of those written about her . I had one court hearing in my case, and was completely blown away by her courtroom presence and legal expertise. When we left the courtroom, two persons came up to her who were also waiting to have their cases heard, and asked for her business card so they could contact her regarding their own family law matters (and one already had his attorney present in court with him!). It appears that Grace is also well-regarded in the legal community as evidenced by the greetings from numerous other lawyers and the courtroom personnel she received while we were at the courthouse. She is my pick for anyone who is going through a divorce and was my "amazing Grace!"

I've been working with Grace and Michael for almost two years on a custody case, and these guys are stellar. I interviewed many of the top family law attorneys in Los Angeles before I hired Grace, and I have now had the experience of being exposed to many more during the last two years (the mother, ...on the other side, has gone through 6 different attorneys)...and Grace is by far the best attorney I've come across. She is incredibly smart, savvy, and strategic. Our case has been a difficult one (i.e. it wasn't cut and dry), and Grace's knowledge and expertise has been invaluable. We had what can only be described as a 'bad hand', and Grace and Michael have won every step of the way (and it wasn't luck, it was all strategy). Best of all, they've been honest, and fair. At every juncture that our case should have been settled, they've encouraged me to settle (and not keep fighting...which would have been in their best financial interests). Unfortunately, it takes two to tango and the mother hasn't been willing to settle, even though she's lost every step of the way. That is hopefully about to change (we have our final settlement conference coming up), but I can't say enough about how impressed I've been with Grace (and Michael, her partner). They are some of the best in the business, if not THE best, and I would highly recommend them to any one who wants to work with consummate professionals. I just read some of the other reviews, and I honestly could not disagree more. The business they are in is a highly charged business, emotionally, so I would take all criticism with a grain of salt. My experience with Grace and her firm has been nothing but exceptional.
