"Simon's broad practice involves tax controversy, bankruptcy, and employment matters, representing individuals facing complex financial and legal disputes.
Simon earned his B.S. in Accounting from California State University, Northridge and his J.D. from Southwestern Law School. He began his legal career at a tax litigation firm representing individuals in disputes with state taxing agencies, where he assisted with negotiating settlements, resolving tax liens, and drafting motions for appeals and tax court proceedings.
He later served as Pro Bono Counsel with Bet Tzedek Legal Services’ Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and Public Counsel’s Bankruptcy Clinic at the Edward R. Roybal Federal Courthouse, representing clients before IRS and California Franchise Tax Board officers and assisting individuals seeking relief from tax debt and bankruptcy-related issues. Simon was subsequently appointed Interim Directing Attorney of Bet Tzedek’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where he represented individuals in tax court and was appointed by the court to assist unrepresented taxpayers.
Prior to joining Precision, Simon was a Partner at a large plaintiff-side employment law firm in Los Angeles, where he led a team of attorneys and paralegals in achieving strong results for clients.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring Los Angeles."
