Jared Charles Osborne

Jared Osborne is a senior associate attorney at Blackstone Law. He works on behalf of California employees in both class actions and Private Attorneys General Act representative claims.

Jared has practiced as a plaintiff-side employment attorney from the outset of his legal career and has also prosecuted individual and class actions brought by tenants against their landlords. He has experience actively managing and leading cases towards resolution, including drafting complaints, conducting discovery, filing motions, and negotiating settlements for clients. Jared is passionate about fighting for employee rights and redressing labor code violations for unpaid wages, missed meal and rest breaks and failure to reimburse business expenses.

Jared obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from New York University. Afterwards, he spent 8 years primarily working as an elementary school teacher in Arkansas, Mississippi and New York. Along the way, he earned a Masters in Elementary Education from Delta State University, home of the Fighting Okra. Deciding to change careers, he attended the University of Southern California Gould School of Law as a Public Interest Scholar and earned his Juris Doctorate. While at USC, he served as an Executive Senior Editor for the Southern California Law Review and his note “Prosecution or Forced Transport: Manhattan Beach’s Unconstitutional Banishment of the Homeless” was published in the Southern California Law Review Postscript in 2020. During law school, Jared clerked at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and the Western Center on Law and Poverty.

Jared is licensed to practice in California and the United States Central District Court of California. Jared enjoys attending Dodgers and Kings games, cooking, and reading.
