Arnel Ordinario Tan

Arnel Tan is a Senior Associate Attorney at Blackstone Law, APC with almost 2 decades of combined litigation experience spanning California and the Philippines. His current practice focuses on wage and hour class actions, PAGA litigation, and complex employment matters.

Mr. Tan’s legal journey began in the Philippines, where he earned his Juris Doctor from Ateneo de Manila University. After practicing law in the Philippines, he immigrated to California in 2008 to be with his wife—a decision that reflects the values at the heart of his practice: commitment to family, resilience in the face of change, and dedication to building meaningful connections. These same values guide his approach to advocating for his clients.

Throughout his career, Mr. Tan has represented a wide range of clients in personal injury cases as well as employees in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and unlawful termination matters. He has also represented defendants in criminal cases in California and prosecuted criminal cases in the Philippines. Known for fostering positive and trusting client relationships, Mr. Tan brings compassion and tenacity to every case, ensuring that each client receives individualized attention and zealous representation.

Mr. Tan is fluent in Tagalog and speaks some Ilocano, allowing him to serve a diverse client base. He is licensed to practice law in all California State Courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California.

Outside of the office, Mr. Tan loves spending time with his family and will occasionally unwind hitting the trails on his mountain bike.
