"Palimony" is the body of law that protects the financial rights of unmarried cohabitants, people having lived together, now parting ways.  My primary interests lie in assisting those persons taken advantage of by others in positions of power, be that either wealth, celebrity or other means of exercising control over that person's life. This often includes representation of persons who are victims of Domestic Violence or Abuse. 

Frequently, Family Law matters overlap with Palimony claims when the parties lived together for a long period of time and then married and seek a divorce, or get divorced, reunite and live together, later parting ways again. Often times there are child custody issues associated with long term nonmarital cohabitational relationships as well as division of property issues.
