Growing up in a family of trial lawyers, Zach has been crafting his litigation skills for many years. While attending law school at University of San Diego School of Law he was a member of the international moot court/mock trial team and an article writer for the USD Law Newspaper. He also found time to work at two top-rated plaintiff litigation firms in San Diego. At those litigation firms he actively participated in several multimillion dollar lawsuits. Within a few months of passing the Bar Exam, Zach successfully second chaired a $300,000 jury verdict in a highly contested slip and fall personal injury trial. Lead counsel in that trial was a past President of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.
Since then, Zach has worked for former Trial Attorneys of the Year and other highly regarded plaintiff’s attorneys. Some unique and complex cases that he has worked on include the San Diego Wildfire Cases; insurance bad faith class action for denial of coverage of advanced prosthetic devices for amputees; misappropriation of likeness on behalf of British Royalty’s image being used in cigarette advertisements; highly publicized auto, motorcycle, and trucking accident death cases; ICRAA background check class action for improper disclosures; and several wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions on behalf of employees who have been improperly compensated and/or terminated by their employers.
Zach heads Crosner Legal’s complex litigation/class action practice. He is also on the Executive Legislative Committee and Executive Wage and Hour Committee for the California Employment Lawyers Association. He has found his passion standing up for employees whose rights have been violated. His focus is to ensure that hardworking people who put in overtime, or are asked to skip lunches and rest breaks, or are misclassified as independent contractors, are fairly and fully compensated for their efforts by their employers.
