Steven Robert Stolar

I would give Steven Stolar a negative star rating if it was an option based on the following: I was deployed overseas in a war zone when my wife went sideways and it left me in a very vulnerable position to vet any legal counsel, let alone defend myself. So, taking a chance I hired Steven Stolar to ...handle my divorce. Stolar pawned my case off on an inexperienced, and newly minted attorney who soon quit his law office for a better job. Next, Stolar assigned my case to another associate who was disbarred and wasn’t licensed to practice law! Finally, he gave my case to a third subordinate who when I eventually returned to the States found that my case had been comingled with another divorce case client whose name was similar! I suffered a huge loss due to the incompetence of Stolar & Associates which included, but was not limited to egregious alimony, lost most of my parents inheritance, and sanctions. It’s embarrassing to think about what I originally paid Stolar in attorney fees, and even after all the above he demanded more in attorney fees to continue representing me! Take your business elsewhere. This man has no honor, and is incompetent to say the least. Update: several years later I offered Mr. Stolar the opportunity to make good on the disastrous outcome of my case and he stated that he would represent me, but wanted more money, and that I must make a retraction of my review. This review is accurate and honest of the way my case was handled. No more money, and no retraction. BEWARE of this outfit!

Steven Stolar is an exceptional attorney. He and his team masterfully got me through my divorce in a way that worked out best for me. All I can say is Im glad its over and I wish I had saved myself all the aggravation Steven convinced the court and my wife into adopting a parenting plan which worked out for me so incredibly well. I had a Dom violence charge and other attorneys said Id get monitored supervision, yeah right, I get... my son about 50 percent of the time.

The lawyer I worked with was extremely knowledgeable with cases like mine and the fee was reasonable considering the amount of time and attention I received, he was definitely not like others who are just interested in getting their cut. My ...case was a bit complicated, but my attorney was able achieve an outcome that I was very happy with. I would recommend Stolar and Associates to anyone going through a Divorce.
