Steven Alan Heath

Steven is the managing partner of Heath & Steinbeck, LLP. His practice spans civil litigation, intellectual property counseling, and corporate advice. He has more than a decade of experience litigating business, trademark and copyright, unfair competition, partnership, entertainment, and employment disputes. His corporate practice includes representing founders, start-ups, and established companies with respect to corporate governance, intellectual property, and a broad array of commercial matters.

Prior to forming Heath & Steinbeck, Steven spent several years practicing complex civil and white-collar criminal litigation at a leading boutique firm in Los Angeles. He also worked in Manhattan for an international law firm, focusing on securities litigation and white-collar civil and criminal defense. He has litigated cases in New York, California, Illinois, Louisiana, Washington, Florida, Minnesota, Vermont, and Tennessee.

Steven received his law degree with honors from the University of Durham in England in 2003. He obtained his master’s degree in International Law and Security Studies from the University of Chicago in 2004. Before law school he was awarded a Rotary International Youth Exchange Scholarship to study History and Philosophy in the Auvergne, France.

Steven is a former member of the Executive Committee of the International Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and regularly provides pro bono legal services at the Santa Monica Homeless Shelter. He is admitted to practice law in both California and New York.
